CDC scientists say they didn’t change their website, and the Department of Health and Human Services wouldn’t divulge who ordered the adjustment to the wording, NPR’s Pien Huang tells Up First. There is no new scientific evidence to support the claim of a link between vaccines and autism. Huang notes that it is interesting that a headline on the CDC’s webpage still states that vaccines don’t cause autism. However, there is an asterisk next to this statement, which explains that the agency will not remove it due to an agreement with Republican Sen. Bill Cassidy of Louisiana, who provided a key confirmation vote for Kennedy to become the HHS secretary.

Not religious, but so many MAGA claim to be ‘Christians’, they have no idea what Jesus taught.

Not sure if they caved or they are buying time or what, but man, reading different sources gives you completely different views of what is going on. I will never understand how so many of my fellow human beings think it’s a good think to keep food from needy people, especially children, and still call themselves Christians. This is true in all levels of government. Even school board meetings have people with agendas who go push them in at the expense of the children. Been to at least one of those, voting for reason, but not enough reasonable voters bothered to show up. It matters who you vote for, people. I cannot say this enough. You have to vote, and know who you’re voting for, or we wind up where we are right now. Right-wing fanatics, religious zealots, seemingly uneducated idiots who do not have the ability to think or reason. We get what we deserve, and if we don’t turn out for what’s right, well……

Read your history of the extreme right, and see how it works. Start small, in school boards and small town government, and work your way up until you are running most of the country. Or, spend your time thinking about what Justin Beiber did or didn’t do. Sheesh!””
