Absolutely…if I’ve been up all night, like I have this morning. Otherwise, I normally don’t get to sleep til 4 or 5 am. My body clock is so messed up. I’ve tried for years, everything I’ve ever read or heard about (including meds) to change it, but nope. Body does what body wants.
It’s all relative, I guess. I usually wake up about 7.30, pretty late for many people, but hubby doesn’t wake until 8.30, or later if it’s the weekend. Compared to him, I’m an early riser. My sister gets up about 6am, so she thinks I’m a lazybones!
I was awake all night, fell asleep sometime after breakfast and coffee, whenever that was, and just woke up at 1:30pm. I would love to wake up at 7:30 or 8:30 as a regular thing, but my internal clock has its own agenda and I don’t get a say in it. It’s very frustrating
No. If I had my druthers, I’d stay up til 2 or 3, then get up around 10. Used to do that, but got up at 9:30 for work at 10. Night owl, big time.
Maybe it’s genetic.
Could be.
Saw a program about a man and his daughter who are genetically programmed to be awake all night and sleep during the daytime.
I think I heard mention of that.
