Another pet peeve. I have a lot of those, don’t I? Anyway, there’s a little bit on Digg about what kind of lines are better,

Thank you, thank you, thank you. This drives me batty, like ‘span’ instead of ‘spun’, and ground when they mean floor and vice versa.
YES!!!! I never understand why people say ‘on’!!!
Or, ” I have to be *to* work at 9″ instead of *at* work. What??
I comfort myself by thinking that language changes. It still drives me bats, though. 🙂
