Facebook

Moss facebookI really do not like Facebook, not as much as I don’t like Twitter, but enough. What an invasion of privacy, one we cheerfully allow because…well, I’m not sure why. Today on this blog I follow:

BIll Mullins Tech Blog

was this:

“Beyond Facebook:

Presently, I am trying to make friends outside of Facebook while applying the same principles.

Everyday I go down the street and tell every passerby what I have eaten, how I feel, what I did the night before, and what I will do after.

I give them pictures of my friends, my family, my dog, and me gardening and spending time in my pool.

I also listen to their conversations and tell them that I love them.

It works.

I already have 3 people following me – 2 police officers and a psychiatrist.”

  1. LOL!!!! I love it!!!

I detest FB, but I can’t get people to move to G+, so there is a lot more interaction on the hated site. I’m using it to see if it gains me clients. Plus, it’s the only place I can keep up with some people. 😦

        • I don’t like anything where anyone can put stuff on my page. Kris tagged a photo of me when I first got on facebook, and there it was on my page. I didn’t put it there. Quit facebook on the spot. I am on it now, but not as me. I also hate when I’m looking for apps, and it shows it recommended by someone I know. Does that mean they get to see my stuff, too? No, no, and again, no. Don’t like it. If I want someone to see my stuff, I will put it out there deliberately, otherwise, it’s MY stuff. Duh! LOL

          • I don’t allow anyone to post things to my page, or to tag me in photos. There are settings for that, on G+, too. I’m on FB again, too, but only to try to build clientele. I despise their morals.
