There are a few Australian agencies, too. We have a colleague from the emergency service, where my daughter and I volunteer, who is leading a trecking party right in the worst area. We heard he was ok immediately after the quake. Guess if you were going to be caught in an earthquake, he’d be the best guy to have with you… hope they all get out ok. Harder for the locals who have nowhere else to go, though.
