You are so right. I wish they had gone back to the bird so we could see if it was able to fly away. That was really remarkable. The bear freed the bird from the rocks, then went back and did more when it realized the bird was still in trouble. It boggles the mind when you think of the way we perceive most animals as ‘dumb’. Another example of English fail. One word that means ‘unable to speak’ somehow morphs into meaning ‘stupid’. So we think ‘dumb’ animal means ‘stupid, unthinking’ animal. I think we waz wrong. Oh, yeah. 🙂
