Sometimes, I get so disgusted with the attitudes of some people who claim to represent my country that I just want to spit. Then I come across something like this, something that makes me feel proud again:

  1. >I watched the video and it was touching! In Sweden the Lutheran Church made recently the decicion to marry gay couples in the church. Not in Finland, though. We usually follow Sweden with some years delay.

  2. >I personally do not think 'gay' is a choice, it is how you are born. One of the Buddhist Precepts is 'right living', meaning live in a way that benefits all beings. Prejudice benefits no one, especially not those who are prejudiced. I was fortunate to have a mother who taught us that everyone was deserving of respect.
